Message from Khunying
Sudarat Keyuraphan,
Chairlady of Fire and Rescue
Association (FARA) Thailand
On the Occasion of the 2nd
Asia Professional
Rescuer Competition 2010
Opening Ceremony
19 December, 2010
Dear All Rescuers and
Competitors,
Speaking of catastrophe, near or far, nobody wants it
happen. Every time when misfortune occurs,
little or serious,it causes damages
to lives, properties and minds. Time is needed for sure to recover
everything
to be back to the normalcy as much as and as soon as possible.
Nowadays,
technology has been progressive, and at the same time risks
have been
increasing respectively. It is the duty of us all to be aware of safety since
the impact
does not affect only the ill-fated persons but general people might
be victims too.
In fact, some circumstances cannot be avoided or are hard to
prevent, however,
we have to learn to know what is behind
so that damages could
be reduced.
Cooperation among rescuing organizations in holding
the 2nd
Asia Professional Rescuer Competition Activity,
makes me very glad. The
purposes are to develop knowledge and techniques of rescuing people
from fire
and other danger to meet the international standard as well as creating
professional relationship.
I strongly believe that all rescuers’ capacity will
decline harmfulness and bring safety
and soundness back to fellow citizens.
On this occasion, may I wish all of those concerned
happiness. I also appreciate your devotion to others.
Your virtue will give you
in return peace in every step. May this competition activity reach its goals
and success
Khunying
Sudarat Keyuraphan.

Minister for Public Health
