On the
occasion of the 2nd Asia Professional Rescuer Competition to be
hosted by
Asia Pre-hospital and Fire Rescue Federation
Association of Thailand
on 19 December 2010,
I extend my best wishes to the organizing
committee,
competitors and participants from around the world
.
The
rescuer possesses special knowledge and expertise, physical strength, courage
and compassion.
Highly admired and commended for their abilities, rescuers who
perform their duties
to the fullest are indeed selfless individuals always
ready to help others.
Today, disasters occur more frequently in every corner of
the world.
The necessity and importance of rescuers have correspondingly
increased.
Apart from producing benefits for the international community of
professional rescuers,
the Competition is also a great opportunity for rescuers
to share important views and experiences on rescuing.
In addition, a
professional rescuers’ alliance can also be established through the
Competition.
From this, we will see coordination strengthened and the potential
of all professional rescuers increased,
towards the enhancement of greater
public safety.
I would
like to extend my best wishes for the 2nd Asia Professional Rescuers
Competition
in achieving all of its goals. May the competitors and everyone
involved
find progress and prosperity,
and may they have the physical,
spiritual and intellectual strength to participate in
the Competition with the
fullest of their abilities.
